I'm really out of shape. Is this too hard for me?
+
Not at all — and this is exactly the program for you. Every exercise comes with video instruction and easier modification options. The program is designed to meet you where you are and build from there. The whole point of the Strength Minimum is to start small and build a foundation that lasts.
Do I really need zero equipment?
+
Yes. The Strength Minimum is a fully bodyweight program — no dumbbells, no resistance bands, no pull-up bar. All you need is a floor and enough space to lie down. If you have equipment and want to use it, there are gym-based variations available, but nothing is required.
Why only 20–30 minutes? Shouldn't workouts be longer?
+
This is one of the most important questions. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, the evidence is clear: for most people, workout quality matters more than workout duration. A focused 25-minute session with proper intensity, technique, and progressive overload produces better results than an unfocused 90-minute session — and it's sustainable. You'll actually do it. That's the whole point.
What if I've tried programs before and quit?
+
Most programs fail not because of you — but because they weren't designed to fit your real life. The Strength Minimum is specifically built around the biggest barriers: no time, no equipment, no idea if it's working. The daily accountability checklist, the email coaching sequence, and the 28-day self-assessment exist precisely to solve the consistency problem. It's 28 days — a short enough window that you can commit fully.
What happens after 28 days?
+
You'll have built a real foundation — measurable strength, better movement, and healthy habits. For clients who want to keep going, BAR Health Coaching offers the next step: more advanced programs, full custom coaching, and 1-on-1 membership options. The Strength Minimum is your entry point — where that takes you is up to you.
How is this different from a free workout on YouTube?
+
YouTube workouts are random. The Strength Minimum is a structured, progressive, clinically-informed program with a specific purpose: building real strength in 28 days. It includes nutrition guidance, sleep optimization, mobility work, daily accountability, and coaching emails — none of which you get from a random video. And it was built by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, not an influencer.
